The most magical place on earth will always have my heart. Growing up during the releases of Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and The Lion King was magical, but my first childhood trip to Walt Disney World was truly enchanting. Those special memories are imprinted on my heart forever.
Fast forward thirty years and I found myself planning my first trip to WDW as a parent (YAY!!).

Okay, so I had NO idea the challenge of dressing my kids for such a big trip. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not because there weren’t options! In fact, it was the exact opposite. I was drowning in the ocean of consumerism. How do I even begin to sort through the wealth of princess dresses and Mickey Mouse tees?!
If you’re a Disney nerd like myself, you know that there are a million ways to “do Disney”. But today, I’m going to share with you my fail-proof, no-hassle styling guide for Magic Kingdom. And it’s really simple.
Are you ready?!
Here it is: RED, WHITE & BLACK.
It’s that simple – stick with the classic colors! This will give you the cutest pictures AND you’ll still have practical clothing that your kids can keep wearing at home. Don’t forget – accessories can make the outfit. We keep all our reusable Disney-themed accessories (exp. ears, purses, and hats) stored in a special container and we bring it out before each trip. I’m not sure who gets more excited to see the “Disney box” brought up from the storage room – myself or the kids!
Now that you know my fool-proof outfit recommendation, let me share with you what I would be packing if I left TOMORROW for Magic Kingdom. If you have a trip coming up, you should definitely check this out.
*If you couldn’t tell, I am slightly obsessed with the Mickey and friends tee shirt. My boys still wear them on repeat. They come in a large variety of sizes and are the cutest if you’re into matching. They also look awesome paired with any of the girls’ options.*
