Asia to Africa to Pandora: you must be at none other than Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom! While rope dropping is a common term used by Disney itinerary strategists, Animal Kingdom is my absolute favorite park to hit early. It opens the earliest of the parks and something about walking in the cool morning hour with little traffic. Ahh, there’s nothing better. Dressing for Animal Kingdom can be SUPER duper fun (think looks inspired by The Lion King and fun animal prints). Okay, rather than keep day-dreaming of the Na’vi river journey and Kilimanjaro safari, let’s construct some fun outfits for this park day.
(*Will you be spending a day at Magic Kingdom, too? If so, find outfit inspirations for MK here and here!!)
All of the links can be found below BUT let’s talk about a couple of things. You will find that two of the above items are SOLD OUT (๐ญ). That being said, the exact pieces are available on online marketplaces (such as Mercari) and I did go ahead and link those sites. If you are uncomfortable with this option, I have some alternates. Let me share them with you!
Additional Comments:
- The yellow ruffled overalls styled for “toddler girl” could be substituted by this from Target! I would omit the floral top that comes with the Target set and use the black and white striped tee shirt underneath the mustard skirtall as designed above.
- The “toddler boy” Lion King sweatpants could be substituted with this set from H&M. (Love these beige Simba pants.)
- Okay, I have one last thought! This is in regards to the Lion King jersey top. I styled it for “boy”; however, it comes in sizes from 6 mo up to adult sizes. So if you love this jersey shirt and want to do some matching, this would be a SUPER fun option for the boys in your group!
